£1 - One Pound Note

This £1 or One Pound Note, number DS04 343152 is signed by the Chief Cashier at the time D H F Somerset.

David Somerset, or David Henry Fitzroy Somerset worked as Chief Cashier from 1980 to his retirement in 1988.

There is, written in pen, the number 76 on the left hand side. Not part of the original printing, but added later by hand.

This D series £1 note was issued 9 February 1978 and withdrawn 11 March 1988
